One of the major animation festivals in the world, Annecy, presents the 20223 edition with the new poster entirely dedicated to Mexican animation with a great signature, the author and director Jorge R. Gutierrez.Gutierrez is the acclaimed Mexican author of the latest Maya and the Warriors Three (Netflix) but also director of the feature film The Book of Life and the series made together with his wife Sandra Equihua titled El Tigre: The Adventures of Manny Rivera for Nickelodeon.The event, which will be held in the French city of the same name from 11 to 17 June, this year will focus on Mexican culture, folklore and its artists who brought this colorful world into animation."Jorge's work is deeply rooted in Mexican popular culture and folklore, but it is also zealously festive", commented the Annecy Festival's Artistic Director Marcel Jean.
