After Europe, Gints Zilbalodis' FLOW conquers the Oscars

The indie feature film Flow by Gints Zilbalodis continues to thrive and wins the Oscar for Best Animated Film.
Latvian author and director Gints Zilbalodis along with authors and producers Matiss Kaza, Ron Dyens and Gregory Zalcman collect the statuettes for best "Animated Feature Film" for the indie film Flow which was created with the open source 3D modeling and animation software Blender.

It is the 54th award out of over 70 nominations including Annecy, Annie Awards, European Film Awards, César Awards, Golden Globes, and many others.
