A new and interesting feature film comedy/musical that has been much talked about at the Annecy festival is titled Spermageddon. We present it to you below.
"An innovative, funny and spectacular feature musical about (nothing less than) the miracle of Life."

Spermageddon, a title that says it all, is an original European production, produced by two Norwegian studios, 74 Entertainment and Qvisten Animation, the latter being the Oslo animation studio where it was made.

Directed by Rasmus Sivertsen and Tommy Wirkola, written by Vegard Hoel, Jesper Sundnes and Tommy Wirkola, the film is produced by Kjetil Omberg and Jørgen Storm Rosenberg.

Is the story of Simon the sperm and his quest for the greatest of all. The wonderful egg. A seemingly impossible task, especially considering that they first end up in the wrong place...

"When we finally got it done, there were times when I looked at the screen and wondered, 'How the hell did we get this made?'" director Wirkola told to Variety: "We made it in Europe, that's why. Years ago I proposed it to Hollywood but it never went anywhere. They're more sensitive about sex over there."

"We didn't intend it to be R-rated, in fact we always wanted to address it to teenagers," Sivertsen added: "You can see what happens to your brain and body when you fall in love or feel a certain passion."

Expected in 2025, it has already been defined as an Inside Out for adults. Here are the first animations (video on YouTube):
