First animations for Makoto Shinkai's new anime

First animations for Makoto Shinkai's new anime. The long-awaited new film by the young Japanese author and director Shinkai, three years after his last work, will arrive only at the end of the year but we console ourselves with the very first animations.In 2022 it will be the turn of Suzume no Tojimari (literally Suzume's Door-Locking), a new anime by Makoto Shinkai with a plot that presents fantasy-catastrophic themes already addressed by the author.The film follows 17-year-old Suzume who lives in a quiet town on the island of Kyushu. She one day she meets a young man looking for a door. Following him she finds one standing isolated in a ruined landscape. These doors, which are appearing all over Japan, are wreaking havoc on the world. Suzume intends to close them all.Distributed by Toho in Japan, the film is written, scripted and directed by Shinkai with animations produced by Comix Wave studios (always behind Shinkai's work) and Story Inc.
