Below the first subtitled trailer.The new film of the talented Japanese animator, author and director Makoto Shinkai is titled Suzume no Tojimari (literally Suzume's Door-Locking), so much so that to mobilize for the international distribution of the film we find Crunchyroll, Sony Pictures and Wild Bunch International (excluding Asia).With an original story written by the director himself (as well as the screenplay), alongside him we find his closest collaborators such as Masayoshi Tanaka as character design and Kenichi Tsuchiya as animations director. Producer are CoMix Wave Films and Story Inc. studios.The film follows 17-year-old Suzume who lives in a quiet town on the island of Kyushu. She one day she meets a young man looking for a door. Following him she finds one standing isolated in a ruined landscape. These doors, which are appearing all over Japan, are wreaking havoc on the world.
