The feature film Light of the World, a new film that brings the life of Jesus in animation, will be released in the United States next year. The trailer below.
It's 30 AD and everyone is expectantly awaiting the coming Messiah. While Jesus isn't exactly what they imagined, there is something special about this man.
Soon John, James, Andrew, Peter, and others begin to follow Jesus on an unexpected adventure, from the beginning of Jesus' ministry through his crucifixion and resurrection.

The film is written by David M. Armstrong and Drew Barton Armstrong and directed by veteran former Disney animator Tom Bancroft together with John J. Schafer, with veteran Tony Bancroft (co-director of Mulan) serving as Head of Story and Animation Director and Brennan McPherson producing the film.

Made with classic hand-drawn 2D animation, the film is part of the Salvation Poem Project which aims to spread the story of Jesus throughout the world.

Expected in American theaters from September 5, 2025, here is the trailer:
