Tales from the Magic Garden is the new European stop-motion feature

An European co-production characterizes the feature film Tales from the Magic Garden presented a few days ago at the Berlin International Film Festival.
The original title is Pohádky po babicce, a film based on the children's storybook Of Unwanted Things and People by Czech author Arnost Goldflam.

Three kids spend the night at their grandpa's house. To fill the silence after losing their grandma, the family's storyteller, they create their own stories and discover the power of imagination.

The film, made with top-motion animation, mixes elements of fantasy and humor, directed by Patrik Pass Jr., Jean-Claude Rozec, Leon Vidmar and David Sukup and produced by the studios Artichoke (Slovakia), MAUR Film (Czech Republic), ZVVIKS (Slovenia) and Vivement Lundi! (France).
