A new anime looms on the horizon, based on a series of video games: Onimusha, from the video game series of the same name which has sold eight million copies. Below is the long trailer.
Onimusha is the historic survival action video game series inspired by "Resident Evil" and set in the Japan feudal Sengoku period. The first title Onimusha: Warlords was produced in 2001, followed by Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny (2002) and Onimusha 3: Demon Siege ( 2004) and then from the latest Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams (2006).

The anime adaptation is directed by Takashi Miike and written by Hideyuki Kurata, and focuses on Miyamoto Musashi, who is modeled after Toshiro Mifune, the Japanese film icon known around the globe. This is the beginning of an intense series full of realistic action in which Musashi's blade slices through evil as he traverses a land plagued by poverty.

Produced by the Sublimation animation studios with CG animation, the anime will arrive on Netflix on 2 November.

As the trailer tells us, the song "The Loneliest" by Måneskin was chosen for the opening of the series. Here it is:
