Other news from the Star Wars Celebration a few days ago about upcoming productions continue to arrive. These include the animated series Star Wars: The Bad Batch.
Created by Dave Filoni (Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Star Wars Rebels, The Mandalorian), now specialized and omnipresent on this franchise, together with Jennifer Corbett, the animated series is set after the "Clone Wars" and stars Bad Batch, a group of elite experimental clones with unique characteristics.
Synopsis: Months have passed since the events on Kamino and the Bad Batch continue their journey navigating the Empire after the fall of the Republic. They will cross paths with friends and foes, both new and familiar, as they take on a variety of thrilling mercenary missions that will take them to unexpected and dangerous new places.
Produced by Lucasfilm at the Taiwanese based studios CGCG Inc., the first season was released on the Disney+ platform in May 2021. The second, composed as the first of 16 episodes of about half an hour, will be available next Autumn.
