Disney and Lucasfilm announce Star Wars: Visions Volume 3. The anthology series of short films from Lucasfilm produced by Disney returns next year with new stories. Here's the first information.At the Disney Content Showcase in Singapore on Wednesday, the studios announced that the Star Wars: Visions project will have a "Volume 3" scheduled for release in 2025. The third volume will feature nine animated shorts from nine Japanese animation studios.Star Wars: Visions Volume 1 premiered in 2021, featuring nine shorts from seven different Japanese anime studios that celebrated the Star Wars mythology through unique cultural perspectives.Volume 2 was released in 2023 and took the series on a global tour, with animations from Japan, India, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Spain, Chile, France, South Africa, South Korea, and the United States.Volume 3 returns to Japan, where we find (from Volume 1) the studios Kamikaze Douga, Kinema Citrus, Production I.G, and Trigger.
