First trailer for The Journey - Saudi Arabia and Japan collaboration

We presented the first animations of The Journey two years ago [news], and a few days ago the studios publish the first trailer.
The collaboration between Saudi Manga Productions (owned by the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Foundation) and the legendary Japanese studios Toei Animation began around 2017 and includes several productions, both serials what feature films [news].

Originally slated for 2020, the animated feature The Journey is expected to hit Japanese theaters next summer and to follow in numerous Middle East and North African territories.

The director is Kobun Shizuno (Detective Conan films) based on a screenplay by Atsuhiro Tomioka (Pokémon films). The character design is by Tatsurň Iwamoto and the music is composed by Kaoru Wada (Ninja Scroll, Saint Seiya: The Lost Canvas, Inuyasha). The film is co-produced by the two studios with animations made in Japan by Toei Animation and the entire budget deployed by Manga Productions which retains worldwide distribution rights.
