First teaser trailer for the anime The Stranger on the Beach. The first manga of the Japanese author Kanna Kii becomes an anime. It's titled Umibe no Étranger and is expected in theaters in Japan in September. The manga's author Kanna Kii, a former animator, is a supervisor of the film and author of character design.The story features Mio, a high school boy who lost his parents at an early age. Shun, an aspiring gay novelist who lives near Mio's home on a remote island of Okinawa, notes Mio sitting for hours on a bench on the beach. The two approach each other but one day Mio must leave Okinawa.
