The world of Korean animation is having a great moment. And the film Lost in Starlight is one of the examples that Netflix has already got its hands on.
As the Korean government invests a billion dollars to boost the animated production industry for the next few years, the well-known streaming platform exclusively brings to its customers the new film by the young director Han Ji-Won who began his directorial career in 2015 with the film Clearer Than You Think, the youngest director to debut in the sector at just 25 years old.

Lost in Starlight is set in a near-future version of Seoul in 2050 and tells the story of an astronaut dreaming of Mars and a musician with a broken dream who find each other among the stars, guided by their hopes and love for one another.

Written by the director himself together with Kang Hyun-joo, the film is produced at the Seoul based studios Climax Studio and will debut on Netflix on May 30.
