The new anime reboot of Gosho Aoyama's manga is titled Yaiba - Samurai Legend and the studios are showing us a new trailer.The Yaiba manga was originally published by Gosho Aoyama (Detective Conan) in Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine in 1988 and ended in 1993.The series follows the titular Yaiba Kurogane, a young samurai boy inspired by Miyamoto Musashi, the real-life swordsman who pioneered the Hyoho Niten Ichi-ryu style of two-sword fighting and wrote The Book of Five Rings classic on military strategy.The first 52-episode television anime series ran from April 1993 to April 1994.Now, a reboot is being produced by Wit Studio, with a respected staff that includes director Takahiro Hasui (Mob Psycho 100 II), scriptwriter Touko Machida (7th Time Loop: The Villainess Enjoys a Carefree Life, The IDOLM@STER), character designer and animation director Yoshimichi Kameda (INU-OH), chief animator Takeshi Maenami, and producer Maiko Okada (Great Pretender razbliuto).
