Next december is scheduled to premiere on the popular streaming platform the family comedy That Christmas. Below the first trailer.
Directed by veteran Simon Otto, formerly of DreamWorks Animation as an animator and TV director, he makes his feature film debut based on the charming children's book trilogy by award-winning writer/director Richard Curtis (Four Weddings and a Funeral, Notting Hill, Love Actually, Yesterday), his first foray into animation.
That Christmas follows a series of entwined tales about family and friends, love and loneliness, and Santa Claus making a big mistake, not to mention an enormous number of turkeys!
A family comedy produced by Locksmith Animation (Ron's Gone Wrong), a London-based studio founded by Sarah Smith and Julie Lockhart, with animation by DNEG (Double Negative).
That Christmas debuts on Netflix worldwide on December 4.
