One of the most interesting projects in the Gundam world is certainly the mini-series Gundam: Requiem for Vengeance expected later this year on the well-known streaming platform. Below is the new trailer.Produced by the Japanese Sunrise and the Americans Safehouse studios with animations rendered using the Unreal Engine 5 graphics engine, the series consists of 6 half-hour episodes with the story focused on the European front during the One Year War made famous by the first anime of Gundam.The project is directed by German artist Erasmus Brosdau (Origin Zero, Warhammer 40,000's The Lord Inquisitor: Seed of Ambition) and written by Gavin Hignight (Tekken: Bloodline, Transformers: Cyberverse, Star Wars: Resistance), with Naohiro Ogata (Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch From Mercury, Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt) and Hignight executive producers and Hiroaki Yura producer.The designs of the main characters are the work of Manuel Augusto Dischinger Moura, while Kimitoshi Yamane (Cowboy Bebop, Escaflowne and numerous Gundam projects) is the mecha design supervisor.
