New trailer and release date for the upcoming anime Kaiju No.8

The new anime produced by Production I.G and Khara starring the mythological Japanese monsters is shown with a new trailer and communicates the release date.
The manga Kaiju No. 8 created by Naoya Matsumoto becomes an anime produced by the prestigious studios Production I.G (Ghost in the Shell), with the design and artists of Studio Khara (Rebuild of Evangelion) in charge of creating the kaiju.
"A man who works in a job far from his childhood dreams is involved in an unexpected situation...! By becoming a monster, he once again aims to realize his lifelong dream...!"
11 volumes have still been printed from the manga launched in 2020 by Shueisha. Manga nominated for the Taisho Awards, the Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize and the Eisner awards.
The anime will be broadcast on Crunchyroll from April 13. The new trailer also lets us listen to the opening "Abyss" by the young and talented British singer Yungblud:
