The first project that marks the collaboration between Illumination and Nintendo concerns the well-known videogame Super Mario Bros.. Waiting to see it in theaters, let's enjoy the first official clip.
The world of the most classic and iconic video game born in Japan arrives in large theaters bringing with it all the legacy of the characters and titles that made it famous. We will therefore find all the friends of Mario and Luigi ready to fight against the villain Bowser and his aims to conquer all the known worlds.
The Super Mario Bros. Movie is directed by Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic (Teen Titans Go!, Teen Titans Go! To the Movies) from a screenplay by Matthew Fogel (The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part, Minions: The Rise of Gru). The film is produced by Illumination founder and CEO Christopher Meledandri and by Shigeru Miyamoto for Nintendo.
Waiting for the premiere in theaters all over the world from April 2023, here is the first clip that shows us the arrival of Mario in the Mushroom Kingdom and his first time with the famous connecting pipes.
