The awaited anime which will feature two legendary television series, Lupin III and Cat's Eyes, is shown with a new promo, the premiere and other.Lupin III vs. Cat's Eye is a project made with cel-shaded filtered CG animations made to celebrate two important anniversaries: the 50th anniversary of the anime of the legendary Lupin III and the 40th anniversary of the Tsukasa Hojo's manga starring the three sisters-thieves Cat's Eye.The anime is set in the original 1980s period of Cat's Eye. The protagonists again aim to steal three paintings that once belonged to their father, but this time they come across Lupin pointing to the same objects. But the paintings will also reveal a long-buried mystery.Directors of this special are Kobun Shizuno and Hiroyuki Seshita (Knights of Sidonia, Godzilla anime movie trilogy) at TMS Entertainment, with Shuji Kuzuhara author of the story and the couple composed by the composer of the original Lupin III series Yuji Ohno and Cat's Eye composer Kazuo Otani, authors of the music.
