Introduced somewhat surprisingly, Amazon announces The Boys Presents: Diabolical, an animated series spin-off of the famous series with live actors starring heroes and anti-heroes.
The Boys, the live-action series based on the comic of the same name by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson published by DC Comics, arrived at Season 3, features a fun animated spin-off set in the same universe.
Surprised! We have almost finished making the eight episodes of the animated series Diabolical. We joined an incredible group of creators with one rule, to have fun and have no rules. It will be eight funny, shocking, violent and emotional episodes. If you think The Boys might be crazy, you haven't seen this yet, reports The Boys showrunner, Eric Kripke.
Made with two-dimensional animations, the series will consist of eight episodes lasting approximately 12-14 minutes which will all be released on March 4th on Prime Video.
