The first three minutes of Mamoru Hosoda's Belle anime

Read...
Belle is the new and highly anticipated Mamoru Hosoda's anime, which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in these days. Below the first minutes fo the films.
The story takes us to the world of Suzu, a 17-year-old high school student who lost her mother at an early age to an accident, and now lives with her father in an uninhabited rural town. Suzu learns of "U", a virtual world in which she joins with an avatar named Belle, whose singing attracts worldwide attention. Here Belle meets a mysterious creature that is shaped like a dragon.

Co-produced by Kadokawa, Nippon Television Network, TOHO and, for the first time, also by the Irish studios Cartoon Saloon (Wolfwalkers), the film is animated by Tokyo based Studio Chizu, co-founded by Hosoda himself (author and director). The original title is Ryu to Sobakasu no Hime (literally "The Princess of Dragons and Freckles"), while in international territory it becomes Belle.

Expected in Japanese theaters from next week, here are the first three minutes of the film:
