Meet Raya and the Last Dragon in the official trailer

Expected in spring, the new Disney feature is titled Raya and the Last Dragon and arrives today with the first and longest official trailer.
Director of this production are Don Hall (Big Hero 6) and Carlos López Estrada, with the co-directors Paul Briggs (head of story of Big Hero 6, Frozen) and John Ripa (head of story of Moana), and the veteran producer Peter Del Vecho.
The film, whose story is clearly inspired by Southeast Asian myths, is set in a fantasy world in which in the past humans and dragons lived in harmony. A past in which the earth was threatened by some monsters, the Druuns, threatened the life of dragons, sacrificed for the good of the earth. Today 500 years later, a lone warrior, Raya, must go in search of the last dragon to fight the return of the Druuns.
The film will premiere in the US next March 5 both in theaters (where available) and with Premier Access (Premier VOD) on Disney+.
