Nikuko of the Fishing Harbor is the new Studio 4°C anime. We begin the new year with the news and a very first teaser of the upcoming anime that the Studio 4°C, a Japanese animation studio is working on, expected at home next summer.Gyoko no Nikuko-san (Nikuko of the Fishing Harbor) is the title of the new film based on the novel of the same name by Kanako Nishi on which is working Ayumu Watanabe, director of Children of the Sea (2019).In addition to Watanabe, the cast also includes the writer Satomi Ooshima, author of the script, Kenichi Konishi author of the character design and lead animator, and the producer Sanma Akashiya.The original story was published in 2014 and sold around 350,000 copies. The central characters are a mother and daughter who live together on a boat.
