Mamoru Oshii and Koji Morimoto create a short for Kenwood. For the promotion of its new earphones, KENWOOK commissions a very interesting animated short film from two well-known Japanese animators and directors. Below the short film Connected.The two authors Mamoru Oshii (Ghost in the Shell) and Koji Morimoto (The Boy and the White Whale Calf) worked together to create an animated commercial for the well-known electronics brand.The story follows a student and her close encounter with an alien and numerous other characters who have come to the beach to witness the encounter, all tied together by the sounds played on their earphones.Oshii edited the original draft and supervised the project, while Morimoto was directing and responsible for character design; a short produced by Hiroaki Takeuchi.All the work was done remotely, including the two authors who never met in person due to the pandemic.Here the short:[ Fra - source AnimeClick ].
