The director of the feature film Long Way North (Tout en haut du monde), Rémi Chayé, presents a new film starring the childhood of the famous gunslinger of the American farwest.
From the snows of the North Pole to the prairies of the wild west of North America, the French director Rémi Chayé plunges into the childhood of the most famous female gunslinger of the American golden age.

The original title is Calamity, une enfance de Martha Jane Cannary, and the Martha of the title the popular Calamity Jane (1852 - 1903), a film that will arrive in theaters French in October 2020 and presented these days at Annecy with a 17-minute making of.

With the script written by Sandra Tosello, Fabrice de Costil and Rémi Chayé, and the production of Maybe Movies (France), Noerlum (Denmark), 2 Minutes and France 3 Cinéma, the animations are mainly made in CG with a filter that finalizes the images with only plane colors and the total absence of edges, the same techniques already used Long Way North.
