Its a CG feature film titled Fleak, the first feature film born entirely in the Helsinki based studios Anima Vitae (who also worked on Moominvalley, Niko and the Way to the Stars). Below the first teaser.
Fleak is produced by Anima Vitae (Finland) together with Animoon (Poland) and Godo Films (France) , and last month was awarded with the Eurimages' Co-Productin Development Award (a cash prize of 20,000 euros) at the last Cartoon Movie, chosen from nine animated project still in production.

The film is a fantasy adventure about Laurence, a 12-year-old boy who loses his ability to walk after an accident, but gains a friendly creature from another dimension who helps him save both their worlds from a Shadow monster.

Told from a child's perspective, the well-crafted feature emphasizes the healing power of imagination and the importance of family connections to overcome adversity.

He was presented at the festival by Antti Haikala, co-founder of the Anima Vitae studios and chief animator, while the director will be Jens Moller.
