Duncanville is the Fox's new animated comedy

Read...
Two of the producers and authors of The Simpsons are ready to present their new original animated series: Duncanville, a comedy starring another crazy American family.
Mike Scully and Julie Thacker, couple in life for over twenty years, are the minds behind this new project, supported by the friend and actress Amy Poehler (who together with Scully worked on Parks and Recreation) as a producer.

Duncanville follows the daily lives of Duncan Harris, who seems to be always one step away from making a bad decision; his mom, a parking enforcement officer who dreams of being a detective someday; his dad, his 12-year-old sister and Jing, his six-year-old sister, who often provides the voice of reason in the family!

The authors say that their series wants to speak to that age group still little explored in the animated series (made by Fox), with Bart and Lisa (The Simpsons) of about 10 and 8 years, Tina of Bob's Burgers 12 years old, while Prince of the Family Guy is the youngest son Stewie.
Their Duncan, the protagonist of this series, is 15 years old and will face all the problems of the imminent entry into adult life.

Created with 2D animations, the first 13-episodes season will premier on Fox Sunday February 16.
