The new animated feature film Abominable will be released under the label DreamWorks Animation, a feature film co-produced with a Chinese studio. Below an exclusive clip.
The film is a Chinese-American collaboration between the DreamWorks Animation and Pearl Studio studios, authors of the animations, formerly known as Oriental DreamWorks, then acquired entirely from a Chinese group.

Abominable is written and directed by Jill Culton (author of Monsters & Co. and Boog & Elliot), and co-directed by Todd Wilderman, a digital effects specialist here on his first experience as a director. Produced by Suzanne Buirgy and Dave Polsky, the comedy will take audiences on an epic high-altitude adventure, from the streets of Shanghai to the snowy Himalayan landscapes.

The main characters are a group of young boys and a girl who help a Yeti who has arrived in Shanghai and is looking for his home: Everest. The monster is running away from a group of unscrupulous scientists who want to learn their secrets. The young will do everything to save it safely at home.

Abominable will be released by Universal Pictures worldwide beginning September 27, 2019. In China, the film will be distributed by Pearl.
