Warner Animation and the reboot of Hanna&Barbera classics

Read...
Its a plan for rebooting some of the classics and vintage cartoon icons of 60s and 70s and develope new animated and hybrid features. A great news for Warner fans.
After the last two original animated film, Storks and Smallfoot, the animation studios announces the reboots of Warner Bros., MGM, and Hanna and Barbera libraries.

Here the list of the in-development projects:

- Tom & Jerry
The iconic cat and mouse, main characters of a large number of productions for the small screen will return in a hybrid film (characters animated in CG mixed with real backgrounds). The director of the film will be Tim Story, and the shoot will begin in 2019.

- Scooby Doo
A new fully animated feature film directed by Tony Cervone and produced by the great Chris Columbus.

- Space Jam 2
We have already talked about the sequel to the legendary hybrid film starring Warner Cartoon icons. It will always be made with the same hybrid techniques, directed by Terence Nance and produced by Ryan Coogler.

- Wile E. Coyote vs. Acme
This film is currently under development by Chris McKay. We have already written about it on our pages.

- The Jetsons
Also in production the film about other popular "space" Hanna and Barbera characters, currently under development by Matt Lieberman and Conrad Vernon.

- The Flintstones
It could not miss even a new animated film of the civilized (in their way) people of the caves, after the live action films of the 90s.

- Wacky Races
Last but not least, the most waits of the '80 generations, is the film that will bring back to life the legendary characters and the bizarre cars of the Wacky Races.
