The new Google Spotlight short movie at Venice Film Festival

In the Official Selection of the Venice Film Festival, the new short movie of the Google Spotlight Stories titled Age of Sail presents the first trailer.
After the world premiere in Venice, the short movie will make its North American debut during the LA Film Festival’s VR & Immersive Storytelling Showcase: The Portal, 22-23 September.

The director of this new production is the Oscar-winning John Kahrs (Paperman), with the story set on the open ocean in 1900, with main character an old sailor on a solo cruise in the Atlantic that rescue a teen girl who has mysteriously fallen overboard of a large cruise ship.

A Chromoshere production by Gennie Rim (Duet, Dear Basketball) and David Eisenmann (Pearl, Son of Jaguar), with production design by Celine Desrumaux and technical supervision by Cassidy Curtis.

The short movie will be available, as the previous productions, in full version in the official Google Spotlight Stories YouTube channel [link].
