Sony Pictures plans a sequel for Peter Rabbit

After $320 million grossed worldwide and good reviews, Sony Pictures plans a sequel to the live-action/cg hybrid Peter Rabbit.
Sony Pictures has announced today the production of the box-office breakout movie Peter Rabbit.

Created with $50 million budget, the movie grosed over $320 million world-wide, $114 in USA, with reviews like 6.6/10 on Imdb and 62% on RottenTomatoes.

The sequel is planned for 2020. Sony rescheduled an untitled animated feature project produced by Phil Lord and Chris Miller (The Lego Movie), moving it up to January 10, 2020 to make room for Peter Rabbit 2.
