The fantasy anime of the Japanese studio JC Staff titled Kujira no Kora wa Sajou ni Utau, on the international territory Children of the Whales, anime that is now ready for global distribuction.
Transposition of the fantasy manga of the same name made by Abi Umeda, the series debuted on the small Japanese screens last 8 October (and Netflix in Japanese) and now it's ready to land in all the countries covered by the Netflix service from the next March, 13.

The story is set in a world covered by endless sandy deserts and starring Chakuro, a 14-year-old archivist who lives aboard an immense floating island that plows the "sea" of dunes. Nine out of ten inhabitants of the floating island are equipped with the ability to use saimia, a great power but that precludes an early death to those who are endowed with it. Chakuro and his young friends have never had any contact with people unrelated to their island and spend time fantasizing about strangers, eager to meet them; since during the navigation they crossed several islands, revealed all uninhabited or abandoned, one day in one of these is found a girl who will change the destiny of the young.
