The first animations of the anime Dan Da Dan - Season 2

There are only a few months left until the second season of the anime Dan Da Dan begins broadcasting. While the first initiatives are being revealed, we also show you the first promo.

In Japan Dandadan, the supernatural comedy series was one of the surprises of the past season (8.4/10 on Imdb / 94 out of 100 on RottenTomatoes).

The protagonists of the story are Momo, a high school student from a family of mediums, and her classmate Okarun, an occult fanatic. After Momo saves Okarun from a bully, they begin their friendship. However, from an argument to defend their beliefs, Momo goes to an abandoned hospital where a UFO has been spotted and Okarun goes to a tunnel that is said to be haunted. To their surprise, both of them come across overwhelming paranormal activities that transcend understanding. In the midst of these difficulties, Momo awakens her hidden power and Okarun gains the power of a curse.

The television anime is directed by Fuga Yamashiro (Tatami Time Machine Blues assistant director) at the Science SARU studios, with Hiroshi Seko (Attack on Titan, Chainsaw Man, Jujutsu Kaisen, Mob Psycho 100) supervising and writing the series. Kensuke Ushio (Chainsaw Man, Devilman Crybaby, Liz and the Blue Bird) composes the music, Naoyuki Onda (Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway , Berserk: The Golden Age Arc) designs the characters, and Yoshimichi Kameda (Mob Psycho 100) designs the aliens and supernatural entities.

After the first season of 12 episodes released in 2024, the second season will be released on MBS, TBS and streaming on Crunchyroll from July 3, while the first episodes will be screened in theaters grouped under the title Dan Da Dan: Evil Eye in Asia (outside Japan) on May 30, in North America on June 6 and in Europe on June 7.
