The manga Dekin no Mogura in anime in July

Strange things that only manifest themselves to those who can see them is what happens to Magi and Yaeko in the new anime Dekin no Mogura expected this summer.

The official title is Dekin no Mogura: The Earthbound Mole, an anime based on the manga Dekin no Mogura by Natsumi Eguchi published since 2021.

The anime is in production at the animation studios Brains Base, with the direction entrusted to Hiroshi Ishiodori (Kiss Him, Not Me; Peach Girl; RINNE 3), with Shinzo Fujita (To Your Eternity, Shin Megami Tensei Devil Children) overseeing the script, Yoko Tanabe (Tonari no Yōkai-san, Handyman Saito in Another World) author of the character designs and Tomoki Hasegawa (Cherry Magic! Thirty Years of Virginity Can Make You a Wizard?!, NANA) music composer.

The manga's story centers on college students Magi and Yaeko, who one day witness a book fall on a man's head, seriously injuring him. However, despite bleeding from his head, the man expresses his dissent towards an ambulance or the police, which seems suspicious. Furthermore, after this encounter, both Magi and Yaeko begin to see strange phenomena.

The premiere is scheduled for July 7 on the Tokyo MX and BS11 channels and streaming on Crunchyroll.
