Poster and teaser from Sylvain Chomet's new film on Marcel Pagnol
The new and awaited feature film by the brilliant French author and director will be presented in preview at the next Cannes Film Festival. First poster and promo below.
The long-awaited return of Sylvain Chomet is scheduled for next May, in the setting of the Cannes Film Festival, an event where his new title Marcel et Monsieur Pagnol will be screened in preview, in international territory The Magnificent Life of Marcel Pagnol.
The film is written and directed by Chomet himself and is produced by What The Prod, Onyx Films, Align, ON Animation Studios and Walking The Dog.
The feature film will be a biopic on the life of a leading figure in mid-20th century art: Marcel Pagnol, a writer and filmmaker whose books have sold more than 150 million copies worldwide. The film will tell his life story through a dialogue between his adult self and his childhood self.
