Release date and first images for Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse

Three years later than originally announced, the third animated Spider-Man feature film has a release date.

The third and final chapter of the adventures of Miles Morales initially scheduled for release in 2024 finally has a date. But we will have to wait.

In fact, the studios Sony Pictures Animation have scheduled the long-awaited finale of the adventures that began with Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse in 2018 and continued with Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse in 2023 for June 4, 2027.

Last December the directors were announced: Bob Persichetti and Justin K. Thompson, already involved in the trilogy as producers and helping to develop the visual style that has distinguished the particular adventures brought to the big screen [news].

"We know how important this franchise is to so many people around us. We couldn't just repeat the same thing", said the production team led by Phil Lord. "It's going to be a huge finale for the trilogy", continued the producer who will return together with his partner Chris Miller (both creators of the trilogy), to give a hand to the script.

So we will have to wait a little longer to understand how Miles' escape from all the other Spider-Man of the multiverse will end, helped only by a few friends like Gwen.

Sony Pictures studios have postponed this title to make space for the fourth live-action Spider-Man film starring Tom Holland, titled ""Brand New Day"" and scheduled for release in July 2026.
