New promo and opening for the new Anne of Green Gables anime

The anime series Anne Shirley, expected in less than a month, shows itself with a new promo that also lets us listen to the opening song.

The novel Anne of Green Gables by Lucy Maud Montgomery will be adapted into an anime again with a new production by the network NHK and with animation by The Answer Studio.

The story will tell the growth of Anne from a child to a woman, through her bond with Matthew and Marilla at the farm called "Green Gables" in Avonlea, Canada, her friendship with Diana and her love story with Gilbert.

The new series is titled Anne Shirley and will be directed by Hiroshi Kawamata (Road to You: Kimi e to Tsuzuku Michi), with animation directed by Yuji Watanabe and Naoko Saito and music by Michiru Oshima (Fullmetal Alchemist, The Tatami Galaxy).

The series will consist of 24 episodes that will debut on NHK Educational from April 5.
