Mid-season trailer for the anime Sakamoto Days

The anime Sakamoto Days is enjoying great success, having remained at the top of the most viewed series on Netflix for four weeks. Today we offer you the mid-season trailer .

Based on the hit manga by Yuto Suzuki, the anime is produced by TMS Entertainment, directed by Masaki Watanabe (KADO - The Right Answer, Bartender), written and supervised by Taku Kishimoto (BLUELOCK, Haikyu!!, Moriarty the Patriot), and with character designs by Yo Moriyama (Lupin the IIIrd: Goemon's Blood Spray, Lupin the IIIrd: Jigen's Gravestone).

Taro Sakamoto was the ultimate assassin, feared by villains and admired by hitmen. But one day...he fell in love! Retirement, marriage, fatherhood and then... Sakamoto gained weight! The chubby guy who runs the neighborhood store is actually a former legendary hitman! Can he protect his family from danger? Get ready to experience a new kind of action comedy series!

The first 11 episodes of the Sakamoto Days (part 1) anime began airing on January 11 on Netflix, with a new episode every Saturday.

The second part will debut in July 2025.
