The chinese feature Big Fish & Begonia becomes trilogy plus spin-off

Released in China in 2016 after 10 years of work, the feature film Big Fish & Begonia returns with two sequels and a spin-off.

Quietly comes the news that Big Fish & Begonia 2, the sequel to the first Chinese animated film of 2016 (available worldwide on various platforms such as Netflix or Prime Video), is in the works. And not just one sequel but 3 films, two sequels and a spin-off.

While the production is busy with the second film, which took 10 years to create it, an animated spin-off series titled Big Fish and Begonia: The Story of Rong Song is in production at the same time (series presented on our pages a few months ago).

The main story will be developed into a trilogy, with the third title Big Fish & Begonia 3 already planned.
