DreamWorks' The Bad Guys returns with a new animated short

This weekend, the new film from DreamWorks Animation hits theaters, along with a new short film featuring the characters of The Bad Guys franchise.

Based on the New York Times bestselling book series by Aaron Blabey, following the 2022 action-comedy The Bad Guys, and in anticipation of the sequel The Bad Guys 2 scheduled for a Summer 2025, DreamWorks Animation is releasing a new short film.

The lovable villains of The Bad Guys will star in a new animated short that will screen before the film Dog Man in theaters this weekend.

The title is The Bad Guys: Little Lies and Alibis, which carries the usual brand of criminal mayhem from the team of ex-bad guys. We find Mr. Wolf, Mr. Snake, Ms. Tarantula, Mr. Shark and Mr. Piranha wriggling and crashing through a series of accidents before making a tasty escape in a truck full of live chickens.
