Grisaia: Phantom Trigger anime coming in January

The anime based on the video game of the same name, the latest in a series, Grisaia: Phantom Trigger, will arrive in animation at the beginning of the year. New promo and info to follow.

Sekai Project launched The Fruit of Grisaia by Frontwing on Steam in 2015, the first of a trilogy completed with The Labyrinth of Grisaia and The Eden of Grisaia and a bonus The Leisure of Grisaia. All games that have inspired anime and manga adaptations.

The latest in the series is Grisaia: Phantom Trigger, launched on Stream in 2022, has its own adaptation that was supposed to see the light this year but then postponed.

The new anime is directed by Kosuke Murayama and produced by Frontwing and WOWMAX, with animation by Bibury Animation Studio, who already animated the OVA adapted from the game. The director and script supervisor is Tensho, founder of the animation studios. The character designs and chief animator are Akio Watanabe, while the music is composed by Hitoshi Fujima, Yusuke Takeda, and Fuminori Matsumoto.

The trailer reveals that the premiere is scheduled for January 1 on Tokyo MX and BS NTV, with other channels to follow.
