The short film Sing: Thriller based on Michael Jackson's hit song

The characters from the Illumination studios franchise Sing, after the two films (2016 and 2021), returns with a short film titled Sing: Thriller. Below is the promo that introduces it.

Join the cast of Illumination's Sing in an exclusive, all-new animated short now playing only on Netflix. Featuring the voice of Matthew McConaughey, Tori Kelly, Nick Kroll, Scarlett Johansson, and Taron Egerton.

Written and directed by Garth Jennings, author and director of the two original feature films that grossed $634 million the first (2016) and $408 million the second (2021), the short Sing: Thriller is based on Michael Jackson's hit song "Thriller" from his 1982 album of the same name. A theater troupe's "Thriller" performance goes awry when partygoers transform into zombie dancers after exposure to a mysterious ooze.
