Winner list for Emile Awards 2024 - European Animation Awards


Yesterday the European Animation Awards were presented, this year's Emile awards were held on the island of Syros, Greece. Here are all the winners.


The ceremony was held Monday, September 23, 2024, at the historic Apollon Municipal Theater of Hermoupolis on the island of Syros, hosted by ANIMASYROS International Animation Festival, where the Italian/French title Chicken for Linda! triumphed.

Here are the Feature Film winners in the individual categories:

- Best Screenplay: My Love Affair with Marriage (Luxembourg, USA, Latvia)

- Best Soundtrack: Mars Express (France)

- Best Background and Character Design: Unicorn Wars (Spain, France, UK)
Director: Alberto Vázquez

- Best Animation: Chicken for Linda! (France, Italy)
Director: Chiara Malta, Sébastien Laudenbach

- Best of the Best: Chicken for Linda! (France, Italy)
Director: Chiara Malta, Sébastien Laudenbach

- Best Backgrounds and Characters: Eeva

- Best Animation: Electra

- Best Sound Design and Music: The Family Portrait

- Best Breakthrough Short: A Kind Of A Testament
