Netflix releases first teaser trailer for Leviathan anime

The CGI anime Leviathan that the Netflix platform will distribute worldwide in 2025, presents itself with its first teaser trailer.

It is a joint work of the studios Qubic Pictures and Orange, the adaptation of the Scott Westerfeld's Leviathan novel series.

The story begins in 1914 on the eve of war, when a prince on the run encounters a girl dressed in boy's clothes on a bioengineered airship known as Leviathan.

The anime will be directed by Christophe Ferreira, based on the novel illustrations drawn by Keith Thompson (Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045), the music by Kazuma Jinnouchi (Suzume, Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045) and also an original song by Joe Hisaishi, historic Studio Ghibli composer.
