First look at the world of Minecraft coming to theaters next year

Another popular video game franchise is about to invade theaters around the world. Below we show you the first scenes from A Minecraft Movie.

"Be There and Be Square."

It's titled A Minecraft Movie, a hybrid live action/animation film, directed by Jared Hess, produced by Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures and starring Jason Momoa, Jack Black, Jennifer Coolidge, Sebastian Eugene Hansen, Emma Myers, Danielle Brooks, Kate McKinnon, Jemaine Clement and many others.

The story, set in the colorful and familiar world of 3D blocks will see the evil Ender Dragon embark on a path of destruction, prompting a young girl and her group of unlikely adventurers to set out to save the Overworld.

Expected from April 2025 in theaters around the world, here is the first teaser:
