Lara Croft goes wild in Tomb Raider animated series trailer
Expected in October on Netflix, the animated series Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft is presenting with the first and long trailer.
In Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft the protagonist has abandoned her friends to embark on increasingly more perilous solo adventures. But she must return home when a dangerous and powerful Chinese artifact is stolen from Croft Manor by a thief with an uncanny personal connection. Her daring pursuit will take her on an adventure around the world and to the depths of forgotten tombs, where she will be forced to confront her true self, and decide just what kind of hero she wants to become.
Based on the well-known video game by Crystal Dynamics with over 20 titles under its belt and 95 million copies sold, the new animated series is produced by the well-known platform together with Legendary Television and with the animations of the Texan studios Powerhouse Animation (Castlevania).
Tasha Huo (The Witcher: Blood Origin, Red Sonja) is both the writer and executive producer, along with Dmitri M. Johnson (the founder and CEO of dj2 Entertainment, producer of Sonic the Hedgehog), Timothy I. Stevenson, Jacob Robinson (Skull Island), Dallas Dickinson and Noah Hughes by Crystal Dynamics, and Howard Bliss > and Jen Chambers and Brad Graeber of Powerhouse Animation.
The first season will be available on Netflix from October 10. Here is the official trailer:
