The dream of becoming an explorer in Into the Wonderwoods

The feature film Into the Wonderwoods is an all-European project whose release date has been announced and the first trailer has been presented.

The original title is Angelo dans la forêt mystérieuse (Angel in the Mysterious Forest), internationally Into the Wonderwoods, a film directed by Vincent Paronnaud (Persepolis) and Alexis Ducord (Zombilennium) and written by Paronnaud.

The film produced by the French studios Je Suis Bien Content (Persepolis), Gaoshan Pictures (Le Petit Nicolas, I Lost My Body) and the Luxembourg based Zeilt Productions (Mr Hublot), tells the adventures of Angelo, a ten-year-old boy who dreams of becoming an explorer and zoologist. When he goes to visit his grandmother, accidentally left behind by his parents decides to cross the forest in search of them.

Made with a budget of 10 million euros, the film was presented at Cannes and Annecy and will be released in French theaters on October 23.
