The Concierge Anime coming to North America, Europe, and Australia

The anime produced last year by the prestigious studios Production I.G and titled The Concierge arrives in North America, Europe and Australia theaters next September.

The announcement was made by Crunchyroll, which has acquired the distribution rights outside its home country together with Sony Pictures Entertainment (owner of the platform).

The full title is The Concierge at Hokkyoku Department Store (in Japanese Hokkyoku Hyakkaten no Concierge-san), inspired by the manga of the same name created by Tsuchika Nishimura, it centers on a new concierge in a mysterious department store where all the customers are animals. As a concierge, he tries to read his peculiar customers and try to give them appropriate advice.

The film marks the directorial debut of Yoshimi Itazu (Pigtails, Popin Q) , on a script written by Satomi Ooshima, lead animator and characters designed by Chiyo Morita and the score of the film written by electronic music composer tofubeats.

A one-day-only event on September 11 in North American theaters, September 23 in Italy, September 24 in Germany, September 26 in Australia and September 27 in Spain.
