Creature Commandos is the new DCU original series for Max

We return to the DC Universe with a new original animated series that will follow the adventures of the Creature Commandos. Info and trailer below.

The series aimed at an adult audience is once again produced by the duo DC Studios and Warner Bros. Animation and focuses on a team of black ops (secret military organization) of monsters assembled by the DCU character Amanda Waller.

The first season will consist of seven episodes written by James Gunn, showrunner of the series, with Yves "Balak" Bigerel supervising director. This is the first series of the new course of the DC Universe that Gunn himself is working on together with Peter Safran and which also includes live-action films and much more, whose first chapter is titled "Gods and Monsters".

The story takes us after the events of the first season of Peacemaker (2022), unmasked by her daughter Leota, Amanda Waller does not want to risk human lives for her clandestine operations as she did with the Suicide Squad (Task Force X) and the Team Peacemaker. For this reason she assembles a team of monsters known as the Creature Commandos (Task Force M).

The first season will be available from December on the Max platform. Here the first trailer width the new DC Studios logo:
