Inside Out 2 is the highest grossing animated film ever

The previous record for the highest grossing animated feature film belonged to a Disney title but a few days ago it was beaten by the new film Pixar.

The record belonged to Frozen 2 (2019) which the well-known BoxOfficeMojo reports with a global gross of $1,453,683,476 of which 477 million in home theaters (32.8%).

Inside Out 2, a sequel released last month in theaters around the world (excluding Japan where it will be released next week) and not yet at the end of its run, already scores $1,462,769,628 of which 600 million in American theaters (41.1%).
Revenues that will continue to rise and further seal the success of the film Pixar.

Among the most profitable territories after the USA are Mexico (98.6 million), Brazil (73.9 million), UK (61.2 million), South Korea (56.5 million) and France (52.3 million).
